What You'll Study

Course Structure

The Master of Science in Digital Transformation Management and Leadership consists of two components: coursework and a thesis. Both components must be successfully completed to qualify for the award of the degree.The coursework component includes eight (8) core modules and three (3) elective modules. Students are required to complete all core modules and at least two (2) elective modules, and must obtain at least 120 credit points to fulfil the coursework requirements for the programme.

Core Modules Students must complete all of the following:

MAS 611: Research Methods
MSB 612: Fundamentals of Blockchain Technology and Artificial Intelligence
MSB 613: Blockchain Platforms and the Fourth Industrial Revolution
MSB 614: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Business Management
MSB 631: Cryptocurrency and FinTech
MSA 632: Game Theory and Blockchain Technology
MBA 612: Business Ethics and Corporate Governance
MSA 633: Artificial Intelligence and Neuro-Leadership
MSC 600: Master Thesis

Elective Modules Students must select two (2) of the following:

COM 612: Project Management
COM 615: Cyber Risk Management and Governance
NET 622: Networking

Admission Requirements

To enrol in the MSc in Digital Transformation Management and Leadership at UNIMA eCampus, applicants must meet the following criteria:

National:

Applicants must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least a strong pass from any recognised institution of higher learning, along with an official transcript.
National ID proof (both side) for Malawians and valid passport for International students
Mobile number in the correct format
Email id in the correct format
All students applying for Post-Graduate programs (MBA, MSc, MEd) must submit: CV*, Reference Letter from 2 people**

International:

All basic national requirements (Points 1-4)
Applicants with degrees from foreign universities must obtain verification/equivalency from NCHE, Malawi
The application form will have mandatory fields for the above mentioned points
