Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from a recognised institution, along with a high school diploma or its equivalent.
If your degree was awarded by a university outside Malawi or by an institution other than UNIMA, you’ll need to complete an equivalency verification through the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
NCHE Equivalency Process
Purpose: Confirm the level and authenticity of your academic qualifications
Processing time: Around 2 weeks
Fee: MWK 75,000
Responsibility: Applicants must manage the process independently
